I care about people who feel like tech wasn’t built for them. When I’m not designing, I create content on @thatgirlyintech and mentor women of colour on Topmate.

I grew up in Mumbai studying psychology and marketing, which, it turns out, is basically a long degree in understanding why people do the things they do. Useful, as it happens.
During the pandemic I taught myself graphic design through Coursera and YouTube, landed a design internship, then a Visual Designer role at a tech startup. That is where I first saw how apps actually get built. I wanted in. So I moved to Singapore, did a UX intensive at General Assembly, and have not looked back.
Since then I have shipped work at Rakuten Viki, ExpressVPN, and led design for Spacebox. The best design I have done is the kind nobody notices because it just works.
I care about the people who feel like tech was not built for them. I care about making things that hold up when real life happens. And I get genuinely excited when someone who thought design was not for them realises it actually is.
